The Collingwood Group Wednesday announced that it has hired industry veteran Tom Cronin as a managing director of the firm.
Cronin, who recently retired from The Clayton Group, a due diligence underwriter, will focus on Collingwood's secondary market initiatives.
Cronin has more than 35 years of industry experience, and has held leadership roles at the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Prior to joining Clayton, Cronin was a managing member of Interactive Mortgage Advisors, LLC, Denver, a servicing advisory firm. He also served as vice chairman at Matrix Bancorp.
Collingwood's executives include former GNMA president Joe Murin, and former FHA commissioner Brian Montgomery. The advisory firm is based in Washington, D.C.
