Freddie Prices Syndicated Callable

Freddie Mac has priced $2.0 billion of a new 5.00%, 10-year syndicated callable due on Jan. 30, 2014.The issue (CUSIP: 3128X2TM7) was priced at 99.354 to yield 5.083%, or 85.7 basis points more than 10-year U.S. Treasury notes. The issue is callable at par on Jan. 30, 2007, and the scheduled settlement date is Jan. 30, 2004. The joint lead managers for the transaction were Bear, Stearns & Co.; Citigroup Global Markets; and Goldman Sachs Group.
