Freddie Prices Syndicated Callable

Freddie Mac has priced $2 billion of a new 4.25% syndicated callable security due May 4, 2009.The issue, CUSIP number 3128X3EK5, was priced at 99.728 to yield 4.311%, or 69.3 basis points more than five-year U.S. Treasury notes. The issue, which is scheduled to settle May 4, is callable at par on May 4, 2005. Credit Suisse First Boston, First Tennessee Capital Markets, and UBS Investment Bank were the joint lead managers for the transaction.
