French Treasury Prices 50-Year Bond

France's Treasury has priced a first-ever 50-year bond offering.The Treasury reported that it set the bond's price at 95.632, three basis points above that of the 30-year bond, yielding 4.21%. Lead managers for the transaction were Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and HSBC. The French Treasury can be found on the Web at http://www.aft.gouv.fr.
