Gateway Originates Over $1B for First Time

Gateway Mortgage Group, Tulsa, Okla., did over $1 billion in annual mortgage originations for the first time in the company’s history during 2012, finishing the year with $1.4 billion of volume.

At the end of the year, the company’s servicing portfolio was over $2.5 billion.

During 2012, it added over 100 employees in sales, back office and on the executive level. For this year, it is looking to expand its retail footprint to beyond the current 23 states and 42 branches.

Gateway also launched its correspondent purchase channel in early 2012.
