Green River Capital, an REO asset management and loss mitigation provider, has named Lorenz Schwarz as its chief operating officer.
Schwarz, who has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial and residential mortgage servicing industries, will also supervise the operations of the West Valley City, Utah-based sister companies GR Financial, a short sale management provider and the broker price opinion company Infinity Valuation Servicers.
Before joining GRC, Schwarz was formerly the president of Phoenix Asset Management, director of REO for Select Portfolio Servicing, vice president of REO for Wilshire Credit Corp. and director of real estate at J.E. Robert Co.
“Throughout his career, Lorenz has been deeply involved in many aspects of the mortgage industry in addition to REO management, including collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, valuation and claims management,” said Joseph D’Urso, president of Green River Capital.
