Hispanic Woman-Owned Servicer Gets Fannie Approval

Deval LLC in Dallas has received Fannie Mae servicer approval.

The designation will allow the Hispanic and woman-owned specialty servicer to expand the range of products for which it can offer loan servicing and bilingual loss-mitigation services.

"We are very pleased to have been approved by Fannie Mae. As a nonbank Hispanic-owned and woman-owned servicer, we are excited to enter this marketplace and look forward to serving homeowners," said Deborah Garcia-Gratacos, president and CEO of Deval, in a news release Friday.

The approval will also help Deval in its goal of customizing servicing practices for the country's Hispanic population, the company said.
