HRPT Properties Trust, Newton, Mass., has priced a public offering of 12 million common shares of beneficial interest at $10.07 per share.The company said it expects to use the proceeds of the offering, plus borrowings under its revolving credit facility, to redeem all or a portion of its $300 million outstanding 8.75% series B preferred shares. The underwriters have been granted an option to buy up to 1.8 million additional shares to cover any overallotments. The joint book-running managers for the offering are Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, and UBS Investment Bank.
