The Santa Ana, Calif.-based company also promoted Kate Simpson to director of client services from her prior position as manager.

Kittle, former chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2009, joined IMARC in 2010 as senior director of industry relations. He served for six years on MBA’s board of directors and was CEO of Associates Mortgage Group from 1994 to 2006.

“With the risks of loan repurchases and buybacks from investors on even the smallest errors, lenders need reassurance that those mortgage applications are free and clear of any mistakes before settlement,” Kittle said in a press release.

In her new position, Simpson will be reporting to Kittle. She will be working with the operations and information technology teams.

Her role will include the demonstration of IMARC's quality control, compliance and loan processing assistance products to clients and partners throughout the mortgage space.
