The Marietta, Ga.-based auction firm will hold the auctions on March 9 and March 10. There will be an assortment of properties located Habersham, Barrow, Dawson, Stephens, White, Banks, Clarke, Hart, Rabun and Hall counties available for prospective buyers.

A prominent asset that can be acquired on the first day of the auction is the Shoppes at Turtle Creek. This is a 16-unit shopping center that features two industrial warehouse facilities, a five-building office/warehouse property, an office/retail shopping center and several other commercial properties as well as some homes and subdivision lots.

On the following day, the company will auction properties located in the metro Atlanta and Macon areas. Among those properties that will be on the market are a former bank branch, a former bank operations center and a two-story office building. There will also be homes, residential land, subdivision lots and commercial land on the auction block.

John Dixon, president of the auction company, said 2011 had the greatest production with more than 4,800 properties selling in 21 states and he is looking forward to beginning another successful year.

“We’ve helped a lot of banks, as well as the FDIC, get property sold and back into the productive economy, and we anticipate another great year in 2012,” Dixon said.
