Michael Berman has been named vice president and chief financial officer of Manufactured Home Communities, a Chicago-based real estate investment trust.Mr. Berman succeeds John Zoeller, who will remain as a consultant to the REIT. Mr. Berman has been associated with MHC since before its initial public offering in 1993. He has 17 years of experience as an investment banker, a money manager, and an associate professor of corporate finance and financial accounting at New York University, the company said.
