DataQuick Adds REO, Short Sale Data to Property Search Tech

In a recent update to MDA DataQuick’s PropertyFinder 2G real estate data technology, the San Diego-based company added distressed sales information to its nationwide property database, allowing users to track notices of default and trustee sale and short sales.

The update also includes new loan assignment transactions and can alert users to suspicious transactions on a specific property, like an unusual series of price changes or multiple sales in a short period of time.

GCC Servicing Systems Passes SAS 70 Type II Audit

Mortgage servicing technology provider GCC Servicing Systems passed its Statement on Auditing Standards 70 Type II audit, conducted by independent auditing firm SAS 70 CPA.

SAS 70 audits review a technology vendor’s internal control policies and procedures. The more stringent Type II audits require extensive testing of those control systems and auditors’ reports on their effectiveness.

An upcoming feature in the December edition of Mortgage Technology explores tech audits and why more vendors are choosing to submit to these reviews.

Calyx Adds Appraisal, Credit Verification Integrations

Integrations to appraisal and credit verification vendors were recently added to the Calyx Point loan origination system.

Appraisal management technology from Global DMS and credit verification from Old Republic Credit Services are now accessible from within the Point environment. The update is automatically applied when users initiate the Point system and are connected to the Internet.

New Online Class Teaches LOs About Mortgage Process

Xinnix will begin offering lenders an online class on the mortgage application process for loan officers.

The class covers six steps of the mortgage process: preparing the borrower, completing the government-sponsored enterprises’ Uniform Residential Loan Application (Form1003), collecting borrower documentation and signatures, disclosures and preparing files for submission.

IndiSoft Adds Software Developer to Customer Support Role

Mortgage and healthcare technology provider IndiSoft hired Atul Shinde as its customer support manager, providing technical and project support to the Columbia, Md.-based company’s RxOffice default servicing software.

Prior joining IndiSoft, Shinde was a software designer, developer and project manager at ITShastra in India and has experience in both technology development and customer support.
