MacKenzie Patterson Fuller Inc., San Francisco, and its affiliates have announced an offer to buy up to 500,000 shares of AmeriVest Properties common stock for $4 per share.The price represents a premium of 9.59% over the stock's closing price on Oct. 28, and a premium of 13.54% over the trailing 10-day average closing price, MPF said. The company and its affiliates now own approximately 329,350 shares of AmeriVest. When added to the 500,000 shares sought via the offer, it would result in ownership of about 3.45% of that company's outstanding shares, MPF said.
