Nationstar Mortgage Holdings in Dallas swung to a profit in the fourth quarter, compared to the previous quarter, on higher revenue from servicing.
Net income rose to $78.9 million versus a loss of $66.3 million in the third quarter, according to a news release Thursday. Earnings per share were 73 cents.
Total revenue rose to $587.7 million from $397.2 million, as service-related revenue almost doubled. Expenses fell 6.7% to $416.5 million.
