Julian Castro is slated to be sworn in Monday as the new head of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He will become the 16th HUD secretary, succeeding Shaun Donovan who is moving to the White House to become the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

On July 9, the Senate confirmed the 39 year-old mayor of San Antonio by a 71-26 vote. The White House hasn't signaled when Donovan will be sworn in at OMB.
