Guaranteed Rate Affinity announces VP of mortgage lending
Guaranteed Rate Affinity announced that Josh Rakiey has joined the company as vice president of mortgage lending. He will focus on serving homebuyers, building relationships with real estate agents and expanding his business across New England. Since entering the mortgage industry in 2003, Rakiey has held a variety of roles, including leading and managing an origination team.
The company also named Matthew Falconer as a California branch manager. Over the past decade, Falconer has established himself as a top-producing loan officer. He joins from CrossCountry Mortgage, where he spent nearly six years.
Movement Mortgage taps Tina Kosur as VP of mortgage technology
Movement Mortgage welcomed Tina Kosur as vice president of mortgage technology, where she will oversee the technology roadmap for the company's core mortgage and lending systems. Kosur most recently spent six years at Blue Sage Solutions, where she established and led the company's Project Management Office and directed implementation strategy for enterprise and mid-market clients.
NEXA Lending brings on the Bookspan Baker team
NEXA Lending welcomed Todd Bookspan and Matt Baker to launch Keepsake Loans, a new umbrella brand designed to preserve their team identity while leveraging NEXA's infrastructure. New American Funding promotes Northwest regional vice president
New American Funding named Stacy Chevalier Northwest regional vice president to drive regional expansion across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Chevalier brings more than 26 years of mortgage banking, sales and leadership experience to the role, with expertise in retail mortgage banking, builder business and market expansion. She joined New American Funding as an area manager in January 2026.
Zillow elevates Rikki Tremblay to principal accounting officer
Zillow promoted Rikki Tremblay to vice president, principal accounting officer, reporting to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Hofmann. Tremblay succeeds Jennifer Rock, who is retiring after 15 years with the company. Rock joined Zillow in 2011 and has served as chief accounting officer since 2018, helping lead key components of the company's initial public offering.
MISMO adds three to board of directors
MISMO, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, announced the additions of three mortgage industry leaders to its board of directors: Anthony Hutchinson, executive vice president and head of public affairs at VantageScore; Gemma Currier, senior vice president of corporate strategic initiatives at Guild Mortgage; and Eric Lapin, vice president and head of market strategy and intelligence at FICO. The appointments were approved during the recent MISMO Fall Summit in Reston, Virginia.
Hutchinson brings nearly three decades of housing, financial services and public policy experience, including previous leadership roles at Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and the National Association of Realtors, while Lapin has extensive expertise in credit analytics, market intelligence and the evolving role of data and technology in financial services. Currier brings mortgage loan manufacturing and production expertise, strategic leadership experience and deep relationships throughout the mortgage industry.
Lenders One welcomes two new members to leadership team
Lenders One, a national mortgage cooperative, announced the addition of Stephen Boney as senior vice president of originations operations and Joseph Camerieri as senior vice president of sales and strategy. Planet taps regional sales manager for multistate expansion
Planet, a specialty finance company focused on mortgage servicing and production, welcomed Derek Vandlen as regional sales manager in Tennessee. Vandlen leads a team of more than two dozen producers across six locations in Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama, with plans to expand into the Carolinas and Mississippi. He brings 28 years of mortgage experience and has spent approximately 26 years in regional management roles. Vandlen began his career in the mortgage industry after serving four years in the military.
Coldwell Banker elevates chief marketing officer

CREFC appoints Paul Vanderslice president and CEO
The CRE Finance Council, a trade association for the commercial real estate finance industry, named Paul Vanderslice as president and CEO, effective Sept. 30. Vanderslice joins CREFC from BMO Capital Markets, where he serves as head of commercial mortgage-backed securities, overseeing the origination, securitization and distribution of new issue transactions. He has been a CREFC member for nearly three decades and served as chair of CREFC's executive committee and board of governors from 2012 to 2013.
Prior to joining BMO in 2020 to establish and lead the firm's CMBS platform, Vanderslice served as CEO of Cantor Commercial Real Estate and held senior leadership positions at Citigroup.

Rithm Capital names Ann DeVries as head of investor relations
Rithm Capital announced that Ann DeVries has joined the firm as head of investor relations. DeVries brings more than 25 years of experience across investor relations and strategic finance. Most recently, she served as head of strategic finance and investor relations at Banc of California, where she led the bank's investor relations efforts and partnered with senior management on strategic initiatives. MBA names commercial real estate finance policy VP
The Mortgage Bankers Association announced that Lauryn Enrico has joined the trade group as vice president of commercial real estate finance policy. She will manage the development and execution of MBA members' strategic policy priorities and serve as the lead on regulatory issues pertaining to commercial and multifamily real estate finance.
Enrico joins MBA from the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where she most recently served as senior financial analyst. Prior to joining FHFA, she was a director at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Housing Service and previously served as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
