Non-distressed U.S. home prices saw their largest gain year-to-date in June as they continued an upward trend, FNC indicated in a report Tuesday.
The move likely reflects seasonal buying rather than overall market improvement, according to the company.
FNC's Residential Price Index, which excludes foreclosure sales, shows an increase at an unadjusted rate of 0.9%.
Seasonal gains have improved combined new and existing home prices in the non-distressed sector by a total of 2.1% nationwide since March, according to FNC.
