Auction.com has hired Sharmila Patel as senior vice president of commercial real estate finance and operations.

She brings with her more than two decades of financial leadership and executive experience working in various industries, including financial services, health care and technology.

Patel joins Auction.com from Inform Media Group, a division of IAC, the company behind Ask.com, About.com and Dictionary.com.

Kevin Klosterman has joined CoesterVMS, a national appraisal management company.

He has more than 25 years of experience in valuations and will be responsible for training the company's national network of appraisers regarding its existing and new valuation products.

Klosterman also has managed valuations efforts at Bradford Technologies, Nations Valuation Services and RELS Valuations.

Marie Iammatteo has joined the NYC Housing Partnership as chief financial officer, a new position.

Iammatteo joins the Housing Partnership from Hope Community Inc., a New York-based nonprofit affordable housing organization, where she served as CFO.

Prior to that she was vice president-finance of the Swerdlow Real Estate Group.

Greystone said that Jay Kirsch has joined the firm as a managing director.

In this role, Kirsch will focus on production of small-balance loans across the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae platforms.

He joins Greystone from Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he most recently served as asset management and operations client relationship manager for the small-balance loan program.

During his more than seven years at Freddie Mac, Kirsch also held roles in underwriting, production, and retained and securitized portfolio surveillance.

CHARLOTTE

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. hired Ben Purser to serve as the company's chief risk officer.

In his new role he will focus on regulatory and investor compliance and risk mitigation.

Purser comes to RoundPoint from Ocwen, where he served as vice president of compliance.

Prior to that, he worked for the U.S. Treasury Department, where he managed compliance issues for the Troubled Asset Relief Program for the federal government.

Mortgage Contracting Services has named Tracy Hager senior industry relations officer.

Hager has been with MCS since 2009, most recently serving as vice president of operations.

In her new position, she will act as liaison between MCS and its investors and insurers.
