PeerStreet appointed Sara Priola to the position of general counsel.

Priola will be based in the firm's office in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

In this role, she is responsible for leading PeerStreet's legal operations, including oversight of the company's risk management, compliance, regulatory, licensing, privacy, contracts and real estate transactional matters.

Priola brings more than 13 years of real estate experience to PeerStreet, and most recently was a real estate finance attorney at Dechert LLP.

LenderLive Network Inc. said that Sharif Mahdavian has joined the firm as vice president of business development for the company's due diligence division.

Prior to joining LenderLive, he spent 10 years at Standard & Poor's where he was instrumental in analyzing and evaluating key drivers impacting credit risk, including due diligence standards and practices.

Prior to S&P, Mahdavian had his own private law practice.

Mortgage Network Inc. has opened a new branch office in New York, which will be managed by Rob Slifer.

Slifer brings to the company over 25 years of mortgage banking experience.

Prior to joining Mortgage Network in January, he served as vice president, New York regional manager for Eastern Bank.

B2R Finance, a lender for single-family rental property investors, said that Darren Thompson has joined the company as chief financial officer and executive vice president of strategy.

In this role, Thompson is responsible for oversight of the finance, accounting and control, risk, regulatory and corporate strategy functional areas.

His experience in the real estate and mortgage industries spans more than 30 years and includes several executive roles at American Express, Fannie Mae, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Rhonda DeLuca has been named vice president, underwriting manager for BOK Financial Mortgage's correspondent lending channel.

DeLuca brings more than 34 years of experience in mortgage lending, underwriting and third-party originations to BOK Financial Mortgage.

She most recently worked at Fannie Mae as a governance manager.

Prior to that, Deluca was a regional underwriting manager with BOK Financial Mortgage, a senior mortgage fraud investigator with Fannie Mae and a divisional underwriting manager with National City Mortgage.

Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. hired Steve Covington as chief compliance officer and Tony Ebers as executive vice president of originations.

Covington brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in risk management and compliance in the mortgage industry where he most recently served as executive director of Morgan Stanley's residential mortgage risk management unit.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was senior vice president of residential mortgage quality control and compliance at Fleet Mortgage Corp. and later First Horizon Home Loans.

Ebers joins the company after holding leadership positions in mortgage lending, servicing and real estate transaction related services for the past 25 years.

Most recently, he served as the originations division president at ServiceLink.

Prior to ServiceLink, Ebers served as executive vice president of mortgage lending and servicing at OneWest Bank.
