Churchill Commercial Capital Inc. has hired Don Burnes as senior vice president to assist clients with their debt and equity needs for commercial properties.
Burnes brings to the firm over 35 years of commercial real estate finance and investment experience focused on both debt and equity for a diverse set of property types.
He joins Churchill after a 16-year association with Johnson Capital and its successor company, Walker & Dunlop.
Prior positions include senior lending roles with Heller Financial, a publicly traded commercial mortgage REIT, and GE Capital Real Estate.

Lisa Blamy has been promoted to retail director for First Bank's newly formed Midwest market that encompasses the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Since beginning her career at First Bank in 1998 as manager in the Illinois region and later as sales administration manager, Blamy has held various leadership roles in regional management.
She previously served as manager for the Metro St. Louis East region and manager for the Metro St. Louis West region.

Behm brings to the company over 25 years of experience in technology across multiple industries and was most recently SVP of product strategy and development at Fiserv Inc.
His experience also includes senior roles at American Express Serve, a subsidiary of American Express, CitiCard, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Ernst & Young.

RealConnex said that Jim Ellsworth has joined the company as an advisor and member of the board of directors.
Ellsworth brings to RealConnex decades of high-level experience in commercial real estate and finance.
He most recently served as a managing director for AIG's global real estate division and previously held the position of senior vice president at the Trust Company of the West for nearly a decade.

GenEquity Mortgage appointed William Clopton as its new vice president of mortgage operations.
Clopton joins GenEquity with 30 years of mortgage banking operations experience.
Most recently, he was a senior vice president of national operations for Gateway Mortgage Group where he directed the fulfillment activities for both the retail and correspondent channels nationally.
GenEquity also appointed Stephen Crispin as vice president, secondary marketing.
Crispin joined Paragon Relocation in 1999 as the manager of real estate services.
In 2009, he joined Paragon's sister company, GenEquity, as director, mortgage.
