Marcus & Millichap has hired David Shillington as the new president of its financing subsidiary, Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.

Shillington brings more than three decades of real estate lending and executive leadership to the company.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he served as an executive vice president with KeyBank Real Estate Capital, where he held multiple positions.

ILLINOIS

Proper Title, a full-service title insurance agency serving the residential and commercial real estate industries, has hired Amanda Ley as senior escrow officer.

Ley comes to Proper Title after nearly two decades with Chicago Title & Trust Co. as an escrow officer. She will be handling both commercial and residential transactions out of Proper Title's Northbrook, Ill., office.

CHICAGO

The Appraisal Institute has named Jim Amorin as its chief executive officer after a nearly year-long search.

Amorin was the 2009 and 2017 Appraisal Institute president, and has served twice each as the organization's president-elect, vice president and immediate past president.

Greystone has hired Bryan Foxley as a managing director in its Kirkland, Wash., office.

Foxley brings to Greystone 33 years of experience across multiple lending platforms, and previously served as vice president of commercial real estate finance at Intervest, a bank-owned mortgage banking company, where he managed the Northwest regional lending office.

Movement Mortgage has welcomed Tony Taveekanjana back to the company as national sales director.

Taveekanjana has more than 20 years of mortgage experience.

Prior to returning to Movement, he served as national head of retail lending at Stearns Lending. Before that, he held roles at New Penn Financial, Fifth Third Bank and Countrywide Home Loans.

Movement Mortgage has also hired Ben Green as business development manager to lead loan officer recruiting in the Western U.S.

Green brings 15 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, sales and marketing to the role.

TEXAS

HOUSTON

Gene F. Thompson III, who has served as president of InterLinc Mortgage Services since 2010, is now the firm's chief operating officer.

A 20-year veteran of the mortgage lending industry, Thompson has been with InterLinc since 2007, where he has served as both executive vice president and president.
