Dorsey & Whitney LLP said that Joan Travostino has joined the firm's real estate and land use group in Anchorage as a partner.

Her experience in real estate includes representing sellers and buyers of real estate and advising on commercial building leases.

Travostino joins Dorsey from the K&L Gates law firm, where she was a partner.

Before joining K&L Gates in 1987, she served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Alaska and was in private practice.

Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. has established its first physical presence on the West Coast with the opening of a branch in Los Angeles.

DKMC's new Los Angeles branch is led by Timothy Hardaway, a mortgage professional with 14 years of lending experience spanning, management, origination and processing roles.

Hardaway, who has served at several other Los Angeles-area lenders, joined DKMC in May.

Working in conjunction with Regional Vice President Deena Sisson, Hardaway will focus on expanding DKMC's West Coast presence.

Going forward, Hardaway and Sisson plan to recruit mortgage teams in the Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Inland Empire markets before expanding into Central and Northern California.

Nationwide Title Clearing has hired Greg McCoskey to serve as the company's lead general counsel.

In his new role he will work with the operations and management teams to provide counsel on corporate and litigation matters for NTC.

McCoskey has spent almost 20 years as an attorney and partner at several local and national commercial law firms and currently serves as retained general counsel for Mogean Inc., a technology startup company.

MiMutual Mortgage, the national retail channel for Michigan Mutual Inc., has selected David Isljamovski as business development manager.

He is responsible for branch business development activities nationally for MiMutual Mortgage’s retail division.

Isljamovski, who has been away from the mortgage industry for about 10 years, brings more than 15 years of experience in building, monetizing and sustaining corporate and institutional client relationships.

Joe Hullinger has been named president of Finance of America Commercial.

Hullinger joined B2R Finance prior to its acquisition by Finance of America in August 2016 as senior vice president, sales and operations.

Prior to that role, he was an operations executive at Genworth Mortgage Insurance where he directed loss mitigation activities.

Prior to Genworth Mortgage Insurance, Hullinger was a senior vice president at BNC Mortgage.
