Sabal Capital Partners has hired Edward Hussey as head of agency lending.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in mortgage lending across credit, underwriting and production, including eight years as vice president at Freddie Mac, to his new role at Sabal.

Before joining Sabal, Hussey served as senior vice president, head of multifamily production for agency lending at SunTrust Bank, now Truist Bank.

Promontory MortgagePath has recruited Elisha Werner as chief compliance officer, mortgage operations.

With more than 20 years of experience in mortgage industry compliance, Werner has served as general counsel of a title company, chief compliance officer of a mortgage banker and most recently as chief compliance counsel for Opus Capital Markets Consultants.

Filkey brings to Interfirst Mortgage 15 years of industry experience and previously served as executive vice president of credit and strategic initiatives at PCMA Private Client Lending.

Guaranteed Rate has hired Jonathon Auer as a senior vice president of mortgage lending in Plymouth.

Auer, who joins Guaranteed Rate with more than a decade of mortgage industry experience, previously served with Bank of America.

Agents National Title Insurance Co. has promoted Elizabeth Blake from controller to chief financial officer.

Blake, who joined the firm in 2015, has a background in accounting and taxation, and before coming to ANTIC, she was an accountant with Marberry & Eagle CPAs PC.
