Appraisal Logistics has hired Michael Matz to serve as the company’s national director of sales.
Matz has nearly 30 years of industry experience, having served 12 years at Freddie Mac as national transaction director and 17 years at Fannie Mae as senior account manager.
At both GSEs, he worked with institutions of all sizes to purchase loans and entire portfolios for the two largest secondary market investors.

Class Appraisal said that Jon Tallinger has been promoted to the position of chief growth officer.
Tallinger, who has been with Class since inception in 2009 and was the company's first employee, most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing.

Berkadia has added senior director Brittany Robinson and associate director Brooks Minford to its seniors housing and health care team.
Robinson joins the mortgage banking team and will be based in Cincinnati. Minford joins the investment sales team out of the firm's Washington, D.C., metro office.
Robinson joins Berkadia from Welltower, a provider of real estate capital for seniors housing operators, post-acute care providers and health systems.
Prior to Berkadia, Minford was a member of Marcus & Millichap's senior housing group.

Waterstone Mortgage Corp. has opened a new Southwestern regional office in Albuquerque, which will be the largest yet for the company.
The Southwestern region will be led by regional vice president Sue Millspaugh, who has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage lending and finance industries.

Kull, who brings 18 years of experience in the finance industry to myCUmortgage, previously served as correspondent lending manager for Union Savings Bank.

Prior to joining BBVA Compass, Cartellone was the head of SMB direct merchant services at First Data Corp. and was mortgage banking retail channel executive for JPMorgan Chase.
