LRES Corp., a real estate appraisal, valuations and asset management company, has expanded the leadership role for David Sober as vice president, national sales manager.
Sober, who will be responsible for revenue growth as well as supporting strategic mergers and acquisitions, has been in the mortgage industry for over eight years.

The Mortgage Bankers Association has appointed Michael Briggs as senior vice president and general counsel.
Briggs joins the MBA from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., where he most recently served as assistant general counsel for the consumer law section.
Before joining the FDIC, he was in private practice with Gordon Feinblatt, a Baltimore law firm, where he was a member of the financial services practice group.
Hyperion Mortgage has hired Carol Lynn Upshaw as a senior mortgage loan originator.
Upshaw has 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry and previously served as a senior mortgage advisor with Summit Funding Advisors.
Hyperion Mortgage has also hired Debra Arnold as a loan officer assistant/senior processor.
Greystone has hired Pamela van Os as a senior vice president and head of West Coast agency loan production.
Prior to joining Greystone, van Os was a chief underwriter at Newmark Knight Frank, where she spent the last 17 years in credit and underwriting as part of Berkeley Point Capital (prior to its 2018 integration with NKF).
Homebridge Financial Services Inc. has hired Glenn Hodge in the role of area sales manager. He brings to the company four decades of lending industry experience.
With a concentration on the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Tri-State area, Hodge will focus on building Homebridge's presence in the region through the addition of new branch locations.
