ComplianceEase has appointed Michael Jackman as chief executive officer.

Jackman replaces Anita Kwan, co-founder and chief executive officer, who is retiring. John Vong, ComplianceEase's other co-founder, has been named executive chairman of the board.

Over the course of his 30-plus-year career, Jackman held division president positions at HNC Software (now part of Fair Isaac) and Fiserv's LOS division.

Jackman is not new to ComplianceEase. In 2006, he was the acting-CTO, as the company searched for a permanent CTO. Since 2005, he has been a member of ComplianceEase's board of advisors.

Guaranteed Rate has appointed Charley Wickman as executive creative director.

In this new position, Wickman will oversee creative, including design, copy and brand-building.

He comes to Guaranteed Rate with a 25-year history as an award-winning executive creative director for Leo Burnett.

Mortgage Network Inc. has promoted Spencer Plante to loan officer at the company's Freeport, Maine, branch.

Plante is a former sales assistant with Mortgage Network. Prior to joining the company, he was an accounts payable specialist with Residential Mortgage Services in Portland, Maine.

Arbor Realty Trust Inc. has appointed Steven Katz as chief investment officer and executive vice president, residential financing.

Katz comes to Arbor with more than 25 years of experience in mortgage trading, banking and servicing. Prior to joining Arbor, he served as a managing director for Morgan Stanley.

Prior to that, he served as chief executive officer and chief investment officer for Seneca Mortgage, a brand of privately held entities focused on residential mortgage servicing and investments.

TEXAS

HOUSTON

Origin Bank has hired Jamie Bell as a senior mortgage loan officer for the bank's home lending division.

She has 30 years of mortgage experience, specializing in construction, commercial and consumer lending.

Bell also served as a senior mortgage loan officer with Hancock Whitney and as an assistant VP/senior mortgage loan officer with Bank of America.
