WASHINGTON

Buckley Sandler LLP said that Ellen Warwick, former director for enforcement and compliance for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, has joined the firm as a senior counsel.

Her arrival follows that of Daniel Stipano, former deputy chief counsel for the OCC, who joined the firm in January 2017.

Prior to joining the OCC, Warwick was a trial attorney at the Department of Justice and an assistant district attorney at the Essex County District Attorney's Office in Massachusetts.

Brendan Clegg, who worked with Warwick for the past three years at the OCC, is joining Buckley Sandler as an associate.

Brooke Cianfichi has been promoted to group vice president of commercial real estate for M&T Bank's New York metro area region.

Cianfichi, who has 13 years of experience with M&T Bank, joined the company's management development program in 2004.

She was assigned to the New York City commercial real estate team in 2006 and has worked in a number of positions, most recently serving as an administrative vice president and operations manager for the department.

Rockwood Capital, a private real estate investment firm, has hired Charlie Leonard as a director of the firm.

Leonard is based in the firm's New York office, and his duties include responsibility for East Coast acquisitions and asset management of various product types, including residential, office, retail and hotel assets.

Prior to joining Rockwood, he was a first vice president for CIM Group where he focused on real estate investments and investor relations.

Mortgage Connect has named Bob Franco as president of its originations division.

He is a founding member and former president of United Lender Services, a USAA company, where he directed the company's operational, sales and support functions specific to appraisal, title insurance and closing services.

Franco has also held roles with Prudential, Merrill Lynch, Fidelity National Financial and United General Title Insurance Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Co.

LoanLogics said that Elliot Salzman has joined the company as chief credit officer.

Salzman has 26 years of mortgage industry experience and has held numerous executive roles overseeing operations and credit policy.

A former underwriting standards manager for Fannie Mae, he most recently served as senior director of credit operations for First Guaranty Mortgage Corp.
