Berkadia has added Managing Director Tom Genetti to its mortgage banking team.
Genetti, who will be based out of the firm's Birmingham office, joins Berkadia from BBVA Compass, where he most recently served as a senior vice president.
Prior to joining BBVA, he served as a senior vice president at Grandbridge RE Capital, where he was responsible for originating commercial mortgage loans for life companies, conduits and GSEs.

Roostify has named Courtney Keating Chakarun as chief marketing officer.
Chakarun comes to Roostify from CoreLogic, where she served as senior vice president, marketing and innovation.
Prior to CoreLogic, she spent over a decade at GE, most recently leading new product innovation, mobility and consumer research insights for GE Capital's retail finance division (now Synchrony Financial).

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital has promoted Senior Vice President TJ Ownby to production manager of the company's Tampa office.
In addition to his management duties, Ownby, who has nearly 40 years of correspondent mortgage banking experience, will continue to originate debt and equity financing for public and private real estate owners.
Prior to joining Grandbridge, he served as managing principal of Tavernier Capital Partners and as senior vice president/managing director of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage.

Class Appraisal has hired Julie Jones as senior vice president of valuation transformation and engagement.
Jones, who brings to the firm over 18 years industry experience, was most recently a member of the collateral policy and strategy team for Fannie Mae.
In her tenure at Fannie Mae, Jones also served as a national review appraiser and as a spokesperson for company technology, appraisal policy, and various internal applications and procedures.
