WEST, a Williston Financial Group company, has appointed Darcy Patch as vice president of marketing, lender services.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Patch has led the marketing and communications efforts on behalf of some of the mortgage and real estate industry's major service providers.

Prior to joining WEST, she served as VP of marketing for national technology and valuation services provider Veros Real Estate Solutions and VP of marketing strategy and industry relations for RealtyTrac (now Attom Data).

From 2000 to 2014, Patch held marketing positions with several Fidelity National Financial companies and spinoffs.

District of Columbia

McGlinchey Stafford PLLC said Megan Starace Ben’Ary has joined the firm’s consumer financial services litigation and commercial litigation teams in Washington as a member (partner).

She brings to the firm experience within the consumer credit, mortgage and debt collection industries, representing clients in individual and class action litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford, she was a partner at LeClairRyan PLLC, and is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Jeffrey Skelin has been named vice president/market manager of Bell Bank Mortgage.

Florida is the newest market for Bell's mortgage division, where Skelin will be responsible for recruiting mortgage lenders, developing brand awareness and building business in the state.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage field, leading sales and operations teams at various community and national banks prior to joining Bell.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. has hired Paul Garner to its capital markets team as vice president, based out of New Orleans.

He will be responsible for securing financing for owners and developers of all commercial real estate asset classes in the Southeast region.

Before joining Walker & Dunlop, Garner was vice president of originations at 3650 REIT, a balance sheet lender based in Miami.

Residential mortgage law firm Polunsky Beitel Green LLP has added lending industry attorney Peter Idziak as an associate in its Dallas office.

He joins the firm with a legal track record spanning over 10 years in every area of residential mortgage lending.

Licensed to practice in both Texas and New York, Idziak joins the firm with experience in the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.

He also furnishes client guidance concerning Veterans Administration, Federal Housing Administration and government-sponsored enterprise requirements.
