The new Texas office, which officially opened on June 10, will employ 17 workers, including one supervisor and one manager.

According to Scott Brinkley, chief executive officer of Pierce and Associates, the Texas team will be comprised of experienced foreclosure technicians who will provide a single point of contact for the firm’s clients. He added that the workers will also be responsible for providing oversight and management of client’s default portfolios to ensure compliance with servicer, investor and regulatory requirements.

“Pierce and Associates looks at this initiative as important in continuing to meet the changes of our industry and to help improve the overall service we provide to our client base,” Brinkley stated in a press release.

The Chicago-based firm has been in operation since 1975 and has over 600 employees in three offices. Most recently, Pierce and Associates grew its senior management team with the addition of a chief executive officer, a chief technology officer, a chief financial officer, a new foreclosure managing attorney, and a director of client compliance and vendor management.

“The mortgage banking default servicing industry continues to change at a rapid pace,” said Denis Pierce, founder and senior managing attorney at Pierce and Associates. “Responding to the new regulatory environment and the general need for enhanced scrutiny over the default process has been a top priority for our firm.”
