Prudential Mortgage Capital Co., Newark, N.J., has hired at least two multifamily loan officers for the Boston office it opened in October and plans to expand further throughout the nation, one senior executive of the company told National Mortgage News.

On Monday PruMortgage announced that it hired Brian Salyards to originate multifamily loans. Salyards previously was an originator for Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage.
At Pru he will originate loans throughout the U.S.
Jim Hensley, principal, Prudential Mortgage Capital, said the company is looking “across the country for available talent” and is “continuing to grow that team.”
The company originates Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac-backed MF loans, but also has other capital sources, he said.
