Radian Guaranty Inc. did $5.29 billion of primary new insurance written in July, its best month ever for flow production, according to a company spokeswoman.

The delinquent inventory decreased by 1,115 loans during July. The month started with 78,257 loans in the inventory, with 5,800 new notices of default received.
But there were 4,798 cures, 2,004 paid claims (including loans covered by a deductible or a captive) and 113 rescissions and denials, leaving 77,142 loans in the inventory.
One year prior, the inventory declined by 1,438 loans to 97,012.
