Under the new program, Atlas REO will order a comprehensive inspection on every property the company is contracted to sell for servicers or investors, investigate and report on the condition of the home. The inspection includes client specific requirements, property upkeep, curb appeal and a range of marketability and compliance areas.

By performing an inspection quickly, Atlas REO has found that it can move properties back into the market more efficiently while also saving its customers time and money.

“Atlas's field inspection program is exceptional,” said Lisa Sadaoui, president and CEO of REO Allegiance. “Consistent inspections head off potential problems and ensure that all client specific guidelines have been met and that the property is in show-ready condition, which helps to drive sales.”

Brian Devlin, property operations manager at Atlas REO, said REO Allegiance has been involved in becoming a participant in this program for a long time.

“When we need a new process for field inspections, they were eager to help us develop the new program,” Devlin said. “The company is very willing to take on new challenges and adapt to the needs of the changing market. They understand the blight that abandoned and vacant properties bring to neighborhoods and the value of improving and maintaining the look of these properties.”
