Reverse Servicer RMS Moving into Originations, Hires B of A Staffers

Servicer and technology provider Reverse Mortgage Solutions Inc. is expanding into correspondent and retail originations in its niche with hires that include a team that formerly worked for Bank of America before its exit from the business, a spokesman told this publication.

Among the hires is Audra Pickens, who RMS has named vice president-regional sales executive in Texas. The company said she is bringing with her more than a dozen personnel from Bank of America.

Other hires include Ralph Rosynek as vice president, national correspondent production manager. Rosynek previously was with 1st Reverse Financial Services.

The company's originations operation includes a call center that will drive leads to its outside sales force. In addition, the company said it has entered into several exclusive lead generation contracts that will enable the company to quickly scale up the operation as their origination sales force grows.

In addition to its origination effort, the company is moving forward with efforts in the asset management of nonperforming "forward" mortgages and real estate owned.
