Rick Sharga Hired by Auction.com as Executive Vice President

Rick Sharga has left Carrington Mortgage Services to join Irvine, Calif.-based Auction.com as an executive vice president. Sharga, who is known as a speaker at industry conferences and quoted often in the media (including participating in a roundtable discussion hosted by National Mortgage News at its recent Distressed Mortgage Portfolios Forum), will serve as the company’s chief spokesman on topics such as the U.S. housing market, mortgage market, commercial real estate and international real estate, a press release said.

Prior to joining Carrington as an executive vice president, Sharga spent eight years at RealtyTrac, where as senior vice president he was responsible for marketing, business development and data operations.
