Servicer Reaches 52-Week High on Wednesday

Home Loan Servicing Solutions closed Wednesday up 3.59%, the leading gainer by percentage among Mortgage Industry Equity Composite stocks. The company broke through its 52-week high, at one point trading at $23.04 per share before retreating to $22.77 per share.

Ellie Mae ended the day up 1.42% above its Tuesday close, while Dime Community was up 1.08%.

On the other hand, of the nine MIEC stocks which ended the day in the red, the one with the largest percentage loss was MGIC, off 2.85%. Other stocks in the red for the day include PHH, down 1.35%, and CoreLogic, down 1.08%.
