SharperLending in Spokane, Wash., has registered its Appraisal Firewall software product as a lender agent with the Federal Housing Administration.

With the agreement, SharperLending's Appraisal Firewall can be used as an FHA Electronic Appraisal Delivery agent, according to a Tuesday news release.
Appraisal Firewall is designed to assess a lender's inefficiencies in the appraisal process, including compliance pressures and workflow bottlenecks, and streamline them, Chief Executive Dave Black said in the release.
Appraisal Firewall is intended to help lenders comply with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations, as well as TRID and Dodd-Frank requirements.
