Terwin Holdings LLC (d/b/a The Winter Group) has announced the acquisition of Greenpoint Mortgage Holdings LLC's minority interest in Terwin by Shinsei Capital (USA) Ltd., the Delaware-based subsidiary of Shinsei Bank Ltd., Tokyo.The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Terwin said the acquisition "furthers the existing strategic relationship" between Shinsei and Terwin. Shinsei Bank provides financing for the New York-based Terwin's correspondent warehouse program and has invested in Terwin's first private mortgage equity fund, Taku I LP.
