Spanish RMBS Defaults Could Decrease

Spanish residential defaults appear to be decreasing, according to a recent Moody’s Investors Service index.

In May, Moody's 90-days plus delinquency trend, an indicator of the expected increase in defaults, decreased to 1.29%, down from its April level of 1.34%.

The cumulative defaults trend during the month remained stable and ended May at 1.51%.
