Stewart Title Co., Houston, has announced the acquisition of Lake County Abstract Co., Leadville, Colo.The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Stewart, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp., said key management and staff will remain with the company. "This is a strategic acquisition for Stewart, completing our coverage of markets in the central Colorado mountain region," said Rand Zimmerman, group president of Stewart Title.
