Stonegate Mortgage Continues to Expand in Texas

Stonegate Mortgage Corp., a nonbank mortgage company based in Indianapolis, has opened a new branch in Southlake, Texas.

The new branch manager, Kathleen McElroy DeRogatis, is 25-year mortgage lending industry veteran specializing in FHA, VA, USDA, conventional and home improvement mortgage loans.

Her team will consist of employees with a combined 50 years of industry experience, the company said.

Stonegate specializes in originating, acquiring, selling, financing and servicing U.S. residential mortgage loans, with a focus on the retail market that has allowed the business to expand to Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth market, said SVP of retail mortgage lending Mark Etchison.

The new branch will conduct business in the cities of Southlake, Grapevine, Keller, Flower Mound and Coppell.

According to a company release, Stonegate plans to further intensify its focus on providing mortgage finance solutions within its retail network, and adding strategic assets and staff.
