USSCO Johnstown FCU, Johnstown, Pa., has developed a marketing agreement with Unifirst Mortgage Corp. it says will enable members to avoid the upfront fee other mortgage providers typically charge.

The fee, approximately $500, is waived for USSCO members.
Additionally, Unifirst and USSCO have the capability to close the transaction within 30 days instead of the traditional 45-day timeframe.
Plus, the homebuyer’s free membership in the credit union will provide him or her all of the benefits associated with being part of USSCO Johnstown FCU.
