Mount Clemens, Mich.-based property valuation solutions provider Value Services LLC changed its name to reflect its renewed focus on residential and commercial property appraisal services.

Along with the new name, it launched a new website that enables both lenders and homeowners to order, receive and pay for appraisal reports, find property information resources, or contact an appraiser.
The foreclosure crisis “has made the job of valuating real estate particularly challenging,” says company president Jennifer Reese, as demand for dependable valuations has never been as key to lenders and servicers as it is today.
Value Services announced it plans to recruit appraisers with multiple market experience.
Services are performed by licensed and certified appraisers. The staff also includes licensed builders, certified expert witnesses and USPAP-certified instructors.
In addition to valuations the company provides appraisal management services, forensic appraisal reviews, litigation support, alternative valuation products and appraisal compliance.
The company said it is developing a new appraisal solution that will be introduced in the coming months.
