Don Curtis, vice president of business development for Carrrington Mortgage Services, Santa Ana, Calif., has left the company.

In a new email to colleagues Curtis announced his departure but made no mention of why he’s leaving the company or why.
Curtis joined the privately held Carrington a few years back from Franklin Credit, a specialty servicer that focused on nonprime loans. During his career he also has worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Nationwide Lending Group.
Carrington, which is owned by a hedge fund, was founded in 2007. It is both a lender and servicer.
