I am often asked what I am reading. Guess we are all kind of nosy, huh? But really it's a good question. If you study successful people you will see that they continuously educate themselves.
So in order to assure that you start 2010 on the right note I am going to share with you what I believe to be the most important books you can educate yourself with.
First though, I want to tell you what areas you need to cover in your reading:
1. Your mindset
2. Salesmanship
3. Persuasion
4. Generally accepted success principles.
It is not by coincidence these are some of the areas I cover in great detail with hours of videos and tested strategies in the Formula at
So let's start with a famous classic called "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. This is probably one of the best all-time success classics of all time. It fits under categories 1 and 4 above.
I don't think any other book has been credited with creating more millionaires than this one. During these times of crisis and panic in our industry and others this is a classic you need to get your hands on.
It's also one that you should read every six months as I have for the past 25 years. Napoleon Hill studied dozens of the wealthiest men of his time and found a number of principles that each had in common.
So go ahead and grab a copy for yourself and read it. Then, when you are in the office of a successful person, look at their bookshelf. You will almost always find a copy of this great classic.
P.S.: Next week I will tell you a little about one of the big dangers you might experience reading this book so stay tuned.
