Wow! I am amazed again at the number of responses that I received from the readers of this column regarding the use of credit repair services. However, the numbers are not yet sufficient to draw conclusions from and I want to keep this subject open for one more week.
Please take a minute to comment at the bottom of this page. I'll contact you next week with your free gift just for responding.
Meanwhile, for those who missed it, I asked about the value of credit repair.
Are you using credit repair services to assist your clients? Is it working?
If so, I want to know about your experiences.
Why do I want this information? Two weekends ago I was in Tampa at a credit repair boot camp. First let me say that the event was spectacularly planned and executed. At the event, I heard some of the most amazing techniques being used by credit repair companies to combat collection agency's selling and re-selling accounts, old and out of date information being removed and consumers basically getting their lives back by the assistance of these companies.
I was amazed and want to know if your experience lines up with the claims being made. As you know, it is one thing to go to hear fabulous success stories at a meeting, it's another thing to know if the after effect is you getting a loan and a customer getting a house.
