Loan Think

What Do You Call Yourself?

I recently received a business card from a loan officer who called himself a "Personal Liability Manager" with the tag line "providing mortgage and liability management on an ethical and objective basis." It's unique. It's different. And it begs the all-important question—so how do you do that?

It got me to thinking that many of you have unique "titles" and "tag lines."

Personally, I had four different cards with different titles. The card was the same—but my title changed, depending upon whom I was speaking to at the time:

• "First-Time Home buyer Specialist"

• "New Construction Mortgage Specialist"

• "Corporate Client Program Manager"

• "Mortgage Originator Specializing in Conventional Loans" (I did not do FHA or VA or subprime. This was the one given to real estate agents and builders.)

Would you please share your title and any unique "tag lines" that you use? You can send them to Karen@karendeis.com.
