New Firm Launches NYC Commercial Property Database

A recently established technology vendor says its new database of commercial mortgage information will serve as a lead generation tool for brokers looking to contact property owners who may need to refinance CRE loans.

The electronic database of Actovia Commercial Mortgage Intelligence launched last week with its initial listings of owner, building and financial data for commercial properties in the Big Apple.

The New York-based firm was founded by Jonathan Ingber, former research director of commercial mortgage brokerage firm Meridian Capital.

The Actovia Explorer service is offered as a paid monthly subscription. Users search for property location, financial data and owner identification and contact information through an online interface. The company said it has plans to expand its database to include additional markets in the future.

Greystone, a New York-based commercial mortgage brokerage firm, is an early user of the platform. In an Actovia release, Greystone vice president Josh Fishman said the owner contact information and other search features saves his brokers time when conducting lead generation work.
