Conforming Rates Hit 2015 High

Mortgage rates rose, sending the average for 30-year loans to the highest since October.

The average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage was 4.08%, up from 4.02% last week, Freddie Mac said in a statement Thursday.

The average 15-year rate climbed to 3.24% from 3.21%, the McLean, Va.-based mortgage-finance company said.
