Elizabeth Frohlich, a partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, has joined the firm's business trial practice group in San Francisco.

Frohlich was most recently a partner at Morgan Lewis.

In addition to securitization litigation work, some of the types of complex matters she handles for clients include investor cases, trust instruction proceedings, National Fair Housing Act cases, actions by municipalities, and county recorder/MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems) actions.

HFF has appointed senior managing director Ken Martin to co-head the firm's Indianapolis office. Martin will lead the office’s debt and equity placement business alongside senior managing director David Keller.

Martin has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, having joined HFF's Indianapolis office in 2010.

Mortgage Network Inc. has hired Chris Veritas as a loan officer in its Florham Park, N.J., branch.

Veritas brings to Mortgage Network 15 years of mortgage banking experience.

He has worked as a loan officer and banker for JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, and most recently served as a senior loan officer at PNC Mortgage.

AmTrust Title Insurance Co. has promoted Felice Shapiro to general counsel for AmTrust Title and First Nationwide Title. In her new role, Shapiro is responsible for all underwriting decisions for both companies.

Most recently, she served as EVP and chief underwriter for AmTrust Title and was responsible for overseeing all legal and underwriting decisions for the direct and agency sides of the business.

Prior to joining AmTrust Title in January 2016, Shapiro was executive director and counsel of TIRSA, a rating agency for title insurance.

Jessie Van Wagoner has joined Castle & Cooke Mortgage's North Salt Lake branch.

Van Wagoner, who previously worked on the corporate production team and focused on borrower retention, has been a loan officer for Castle & Cooke Mortgage since 2017.

Prior to joining Castle & Cooke Mortgage, he worked as a general contractor in residential and commercial construction for 10 years.
